Ilva Skulte

She obtained a PhD in Philology (University of Latvia, 1999), worked in the field of journalism (Nakts, Diena, Neatkarīgā Rīta Avīze, Kultūras Forums), since 2001 has been working at the Department of Communication Studies at Riga Stradiņš University as a researcher and lecturer. Her interests include cultural journalism, media art and criticism, reading and literature, as well as audience practices and skills in a changing media culture.
