Aiga Grišāne

Aiga Grišāne is an assistant to Dace Melbārde, a Member of the European Parliament. Aiga was the head of the Media Policy Department of the Ministry of Culture until 2019. Participated in the development and implementation of the Latvian Media Policy Guidelines for 2016-2020, where one of the five directions of action is media literacy.

Among Aiga's work priorities in the European Parliament are media policy, legislation applicable to the media sector, the promotion of media literacy, and the fight against the fight against disinformation.
